The RCF 8004-AS is a professional 18 inch powered subwoofer built for medium to large events. It's the sub we usually pair with our RCF HDL20-A line array cabinets to build a full-range system for concerts, festivals, corporate events and big parties in Perth.

A 2500W (peak) / 1250W RMS digital amplifier drives the 18 inch woofer down to 30 Hz, reaching up to 136 dB. That means deep, controlled bass with plenty of headroom, even with a big crowd. Onboard controls include a high-pass filter, phase control, time delay and volume, so it can be tuned to sit perfectly with the top cabinets.

It can also be set up in a cardioid arrangement, which directs the bass towards the audience and reduces low-frequency noise on stage. That helps performers hear themselves clearly and keeps neighbouring areas quieter.

• 18 inch powered subwoofer
• 2500W peak (1250W RMS) digital amplifier
• Frequency range 30 Hz to 120 Hz
• Up to 136 dB maximum sound level
• High-pass filter, phase and delay controls
• Cardioid setup option to reduce stage noise
• Built-in presets

For bigger events, step up to the dual 18 inch RCF 8006-AS, or combine several subs for festival-size bass.

Because it's built for professional touring, the 8004-AS is tough and dependable. It's a favourite for outdoor events, school and community concerts, corporate launches and band nights where the sound has to be powerful but still clean and controlled all night long.
