Speaker Hire

This powered 15 inch subwoofer from Electro-Voice gives you deep, tight bass in a smaller and easier to carry cabinet than its 18 inch big brother, the EKX-18SP. It is a great choice when you want real low end at a party, wedding, DJ gig or band night, but don't have the room or the crew for a bigger sub.

Inside is a high efficiency 1300W (peak) Class D amplifier driving a 15 inch woofer, so it stays clean and punchy right up to full volume. The built-in DSP presets let you set it up quickly for different rooms and top speakers, and the gain control and clip indicator make it easy to get the level right without guesswork.

The rugged cabinet is built to handle regular hire use, with sturdy handles for carrying and a pole mount on top, so you can sit one of our powered speakers above it for a neat, compact PA. Team it with two EV ELX112P or ZLX15P speakers for a punchy party system, or run two subs for bigger events and dance floors.

• 1300W peak Class D amplifier
• 15 inch low frequency woofer
• XLR inputs and outputs to link more subs or top speakers
• Built-in DSP presets and easy gain management
• Pole mount for a top speaker
• Compact, road-ready cabinet

It is equally at home at a backyard party, a school or community event, a corporate function or a small festival stage. Because it is lighter than an 18 inch sub, it is quicker to load in and out, which makes it a favourite for events with tight bump-in times or tricky access.
