Speaker Hire

The Electro-Voice ZXA1 Sub is a compact 12 inch powered subwoofer that delivers surprisingly big bass from a small cabinet. It's a great add-on to a pair of small speakers when you want more low end at a party, function, bar gig or presentation, but don't have the room for a large sub.

Its 700W digital amplifier and 12 inch woofer give tight, controlled bass that suits DJ music, acoustic acts and small bands alike. Because it's light and easy to carry, it's quick to load in and out, which makes it popular for venues with tricky access, stairs or tight bump-in times.

Stereo XLR inputs and outputs let you run your mixer into the sub and then out to your top speakers, and the pole mount on top means you can sit a small speaker such as our EV ZXA1-90 directly above it for a tidy, compact system that doesn't take over the room.

• 12 inch powered subwoofer
• 700W digital amplifier
• Compact and lightweight, easy to transport
• Stereo XLR inputs and outputs
• Pole mount for a top speaker
• Great for small stages and tight spaces

Team it with two EV ZXA1-90 8 inch speakers for a small but punchy system that suits restaurants, cafes, small functions, speeches with background music and acoustic gigs. It's also a handy way to add warmth and depth to background music at a corporate event without needing a big, bulky setup.
